AUSTIN, Texas — Doesn't it seem like a lot of people confuse the Statesman Capitol 10,000 with Halloween? Then again, this is Austin, where a lot of people think Halloween is every day.
The 35th anniversary of the Cap 10K gets going at 9 a.m. Sunday over the Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge. And if past years are any indication, you can expect to watch or run among Superman, guys in tutus, the University of Texas Tower, Waldo, a ketchup bottle and a dude with a beard strumming an acoustic guitar. (That last one isn't a costume; it really is a dude strumming an acoustic guitar.)
