Longview — A small but dedicated contingent of residents interested in seeing drugs, crime, corruption and violence booted from Longview marched Saturday to publicize their efforts.
Longview pastor the Rev. Herb Spady said the fight against drugs, corruption, violence and crime needs to be broadened beyond relying on law enforcement.
Spady, pastor with the Courageous Joshua Generation Ministry, said he hoped the event will be a starting point to spur public outcry against crime in Longview. He said getting faith-based support for such an effort just seems logical.
