Henderson — The Henderson City Council approved a resolution Tuesday night that will hopefully lead to grant money to replace, rebuild or repair substandard housing within the city, Mayor Buzz Fullen said.
The resolution authorizes Mark Taylor with Gary R. Traylor & Associates to submit a HOME Grant application, which would provide state money for rehabilitation of dilapidated homes in Henderson, Fullen said.
“It’s really a good program, which would do a lot to provide better housing here and would require very little in the way of city funds,” he said.
