TYLER — A new political action committee in Tyler is pushing to get beer and wine back on the ballot in parts of Smith County. The group tells KETK their goal is to have a local option election this November.
***The group is in the process of filing the petition, but would need 7,800 signatures from registered voters in Tyler and 6,700 from registered voters in Smith County Precinct Two which includes S.W. Tyler, Noonday, Bullard and Flint to put beer and wine back on the ballot.
