TYLER - Teen birth rates are hitting record lows across the country but, unfortunately in East Texas some would say that's not the case. While reports say in 2010 there were fewer babies born to teens than any year since 1946 nationwide Texas is rated the fourth highest nationally in teen pregnancies.
For folks at the Pregnancy Resource Center in Tyler the new stats are a little suprisingly, they say, when compared to what they're seeing.
"It's certainly, our business certainly isn't slowing down at all and I'd like to think that the girls are not having sex outside of marriage but that's not happening either."
