Longview, TX — The Longview Rodeo Arena at the Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Complex is now opened following a major renovation project. A ribbon cutting event was held Thursday at the Longview Rodeo Arena, located at 100 Grand Blvd. The first event in the renovated facility will take place on Saturday with Dalton Days, hosted by the Gregg County Historical Museum.
The arena is a PRCA-approved facility with seating for approximately 5,000. During the renovation, the arena received new stadium seats, new lighting, and a new announcer’s booth. Additional parking surrounding the arena was also added. The renovations were funded by the City of Longview. Gregg County provided in-kind assistance of materials and labor for the parking lot improvements.
