Man tries to get woman into his car

An aggravated assault took place early this morning in Tyler.

It happened just after 8 am at Donnybrook and Second.

Officers spoke with a female victim who advised them she had been walking her dog when a hispanic male pulled up next to her.

The man proceeded to pull a gun out and pointed it at her and told her to get into the car.

The female refused adn ran to a nearby house for help.

The male drove off in a white four door vehicle.

Officers are still investigating this case.
