TYLER — Toll 49 construction has reached I-20. Officials with the North East Texas Regional Mobility Authority (NET RMA) say the first of many construction activities taking place within the next several months is an eastbound shoulder closure allowing drainage work to begin.
That closure is expected to take place Monday if weather allows.
There will be signage making motorists aware of the shoulder closure.
Officials say you should be prepared for any potential delays in the construction area.
