LONGVIEW — 5:05 p.m.
Longview Fire Marshal Johnny Zackary tells KETK the fire started in the kitchen near the stove and not the garage area as originally thought. The kitchen and garage are located next to each other.
Zackary adds this is an unintentional fire.
3:15 p.m.
Longview firefighters were called out to the scene around 1 p.m. this afternoon.
Officials tell KETK a passerby made the call to report the fire, and it is unknown how long the fire had been burning previous to receiving the call.
When firefighters arrived they were able to make an interior attack and cleared the house.
As the structure started to collapse firefighters had to go on the defensive to ensure the safety of the firefighters.
Longview Fire Marshal Johnny Zackary tells KETK the believe the fire started in the garage area but the cause is unknown at this time.
No one was at home when firefighters arrived.
No injuries were reported.

The fire on the 1300 block of MontClaire Street is under control at this time.

Officials tell KETK no one was home when the house caught fire.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
Original report: Longview firefighters are on the scene of a large house fire in the 1300 block of Montclair St.
The smoke from the fire can be seen all over town.
KETK has a crew on the scene, and will update this story as soon as more information comes in.
