KILGORE — On Sunday April 29, 2012 a Kilgore Police officer made a traffic stop on the 1600 block of Pentecost Rd, where two people were walking.
One of the people, later identified as 43 year old James Benner, of Eudora, Arkansas, gave a fictitious name to police.
Kilgore Police discovered that Benner was wanted out of Chicot County, Arkansas for Felony Kidnapping.
Benner resisted arrest by Kilgore Police, and attempted to run away, but after a struggle officers were were able to get him into custody.
He is being held in the Gregg County Jail on a charge of Resisting Arrest and a fugitive warrant.
