Lufkin — Crime Stoppers of Lufkin wants your help identifying the suspect in a recent incident of theft of jewelry from a Lufkin-area business.
Around 11:30 PM on March 15, 2012, a white or Hispanic male walking through a Lufkin business noticed an unprotected display case in the business` jewelry department. The suspect continued on his way but, about thirty minutes later, he put on a hat, found a bag, and returned to the display case. While keeping an eye out for witnesses, the suspect used the bag to concealed nearly $1,100 worth of earrings and then exited the store without paying for the jewelry.
The suspect might think that no one witnessed his crime but the business` security cameras caught his every move. The still images shown at right were taken from the security videos.
The suspect has long, dark hair that, during the theft, he wore in a ponytail. He arrived at and left from the business in what appears to be a white, full-size, four-door car, and he was in the company of a heavy-set, white or Hispanic female.
