Kilgore conference focuses on energy production

Kilgore — The Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association hosted its third Annual East Texas Conference on Tuesday afternoon at the East Texas Oil Museum in Kilgore.

Fred Wang, research scientist for the Bureau of Economic Geology, and Harold E. McGowen III, president and CEO of Navidad Resources of Tyler, spoke to a crowd of about 50 at the event. They provided updates on energy related developments in Texas.
