tyler — There was no one better than commenting on life, business, politics and the world than johnny Carson.
Years ago..and I mean years ago when Carson was hosting the academy awards he said
"this is a night when Hollywood puts all it's betty jealousies behind itself..and brings out it's really large one.
Friends..we are in campaign season and the same thing can be said for politics.
The latest political fad for some is attack the very wealthy and those who...by material scorecard...have
done really well in life.
I'm watching this right now with the attacks on mitt Romney.
The guy was with a successful venture capital group...called Bain.
Before you scoff too much at these venture capital folks you'd be surprised at how many businesses you
know right now that were save or propped up by them.
The latest TV and radio ads show a bunch of union steelworker upset about losing their jobs.
They bitch and moan that they were put on hard times and Mitt Romney Romney and Bain went in and made money off the deal.
What the commercial never addresses is that Romney and his group were brought in because the people
running the company before they ever got there ran it into the ground.
It was the former owner who screwed everything up..not Bain.
Of course Bain made money off the deal----how do you think banks and hedge funds survive?
Are we really this naïve?
The president's folks are poo pooing Romney and Bain....vulture capitalist they are calling them.
This..while the president goes to and condones high- priced fund raisers with the head of another private equity firm--- the Blackstone Group.
Funny how it works that way.
I don't take high blood pressure medicine...but maybe I should.
Both sides do it.
That's my point of view whats yours?
