Early voting in East Texas ends today

East Texas — Today is the final day of early voting in Gregg and other East Texas counties, and numerous voting locations will be open.

Gregg County officials said after a slow start, early voting activity was picking up Thursday. The Gregg County Courthouse will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today, said Elections Administrator Kathryn Neely. In addition, several branch voting locations in the county will be open until 6 p.m.
