Tyler, TX — Fire officials tell KETK a homeowner hired someone to clear out his land on Hwy 69 South. While in the process, the fire jumped a fence to his neighbors yard and burned two acres.
Structures were in danger, but no damage was done.
Original Report: Smith County fire officials are responding to a woods fire on US 69 South.
Crews have been called to a location on the 18,000 block of Hwy 69 S.
KETK has confirmed structures are in danger, and the fire involves two acres.
