Union Grove accounting team brings home state honors

Gladewater — One year ago, Gailyn Sutton began to cry as she thought about the loss her students had to bear when they did not advance to a higher round of academic competition.

Today, that isn’t the case. The Union Grove High School accounting team brought home the silver medal from the state tournament after attending for the first time in more than a decade.
