Drunk Lufkin driver rolls vehicle, found with cocaine

Lufkin — An alleged drunk Lufkin driver is in the Angelina County Jail after rolling his vehicle Tuesday night.

Police records show it happened around 11:00 p.m. on the 2200 block of Paul Avenue.

Officers arrested Carlos A. Padron-Espinosa, 24, for driving while intoxicated.

During the booking process, Espinosa was also found with a plastic bag of cocaine. He is charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of a prohibited substance. His bond is set at $1,500.
