Lufkin, TX — Angelina County Sheriff’s officials have arrested two Aryan Brotherhood soldiers after conducting a drug raid at a home near Herty Park in northeast Lufkin, according to an investigator.
Roger Dell Tillar, 60, and his son, Kevin Wayne Tillar, 34, are being charged with first-degree and third-degree felony charges of possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, according to Angelina County Sheriff’s investigator Mark McLin.
The sheriff’s office made the arrests after a five-month investigation that led to Wednesday’s raid of the home at 3400 Nerren Road, McLin said. Each count against the Tillars is enhanced because of the home’s proximity to the park, he said. They are also charged with possession of a controlled substance after 15 grams of crystal meth were found at the home, McLin said. He said the Tillars were not manufacturing the drugs, but that the sheriff’s office believes they were getting them from Houston.
