Marshall — A seemingly open-and-shut rezoning request, which passed its first reading with the city commission unanimously, failed its second reading by a similarly undivided vote, forcing property owner Bill Seibert to reapply for a different designation.
Seibert petitioned the Planning and Zoning Commission a little over a month ago to have his property at 1102 South Washington re-designated from an R-2 Single Family Detached Dwelling District to an R-6 designation, which includes duplexes, triplexes and quadrapexes.
