TYLER, TX — UPDATE: Carmel Foster has pleaded guilty to all charges against her, according to the Smith County District Attorney's Office.
Foster's sentencing is set for August 31 at 9 a.m. She remains in the Smith County Jail.
ORIGINAL REPORT: Carmel Foster was in a Smith County courtroom again Monday morning for a docket call.
Judge Kerry L. Russell set Foster's trial to begin Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
Foster is accused of injecting an unknown substance into a woman's breast during an illegal breast augmentation, after which the victim was hospitalized.
She is charged with practicing medicine without a license.
Foster owns the Queen Divas salon in Tyler, where the procedures allegedly were performed.
Her trial will take place in the 7th District Court of Smith County.
She faces up to 10 years in prison as well as a $10,000 fine if she is convicted.
