tyler — Here is an item I read about this past weekend.
I noticed this never hit the mainstream media.
Did you know that Russian fighter pilots are flying next to the west coast airspace?
Newsroom America reports Russian nuclear-capable bombers were intercepted near the U.S. west coast for the second time in as many weeks over the July 4th holiday.
The Washington Free Beacon reported that the intruding planes were again met by U.S. air defense fighters, and that the Russian planes came close to the Pacific coast 12-mile exclusion zone but did not cross it.
Some defense experts believe the drills, along with comments made recently by Russian military commanders, sound an ominous tone.
A defense expert said the most recent Russian bomber incursion as "(Russian President Vladimir) Putin's Fourth of July Bear greeting to Obama."
Retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney, a former Alaska commander for the North American Aerospace Defense Command, told the publication the incursions appear to be aimed testing U.S. resolve.
"It's becoming very obvious that Putin is testing Obama and his national security team,". This is very much like the Cold War.
Putin is talking smack to the U.S. He's doing it because he can get away with it. He doesn't like the president.
Has someone told George Clooney and Larry David this?
Everyone was supposed to like us now?
They are testing our resolve knowing we don't have any.
I guess the Russians did read all the documents leaked to make President Obama appear to look like John Wayne.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
