By mid-meeting, 2 council members have walked out. One comes back...and leaves again

COFFEE CITY — For years, the small East Texas city 'Coffee City' in between Tyler and Frankston has often found itself at the center of controversy.

The city -- for whatever reason doesn't have an official website at the moment.

So a group called the Concerned Citizens of Coffee City have their own website...click here to see that. [2]

And there is another website operated by a Concerned Citizens member that calls itself the 'Official Website' of Coffee City...click here to see that one. [3]

Some say it's parody of the city... it's full of jokes and funny pictures mocking the city government there.

After a council member used the floor to speak directly to the particular citizen who maintains that website -- for the graphic nature of some of the other sites he maintains...one of the other council members got up and left...followed by another council member who also happens to be a member of the Concerned Citizens of Coffee City.
