Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News is reporting; for patrons of Lufkin’s Kurth Memorial Library who may owe fines for those late books, it’s now safe to go back to the library.
Starting this week and continuing until Aug. 11, the library will be offering a 75 percent amnesty program for anyone owing fines for materials that were returned late.
