Authorities say: rescue turned into hoarding
Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; The discovery of 298 neglected dogs at a Montgomery County home - previously used as a refuge for aggressive animals - is a case of a rescue effort that turned into hoarding.
A woman who lived at the property refused to willingly relinquish the dogs to authorities, who initially showed up with a search warrant.
