Woman dies after falling off Galveston ferry

She fell between Bolivar Peninsula and Galveston Island

Galveston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; The Coast Guard says a woman died at a hospital after falling off the ferry in Galveston on Monday night. She fell between Bolivar Peninsula and Galveston Island.

Crews found the body floating in the water after falling overboard, the Coast Guard said. She was taken to the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where she was pronounced dead.
