Lufkin, TX — Our newspaper partners, the Lufkin Daily News reports; Law enforcement authorities have captured a suspect in the early morning murders of a Lufkin brother and sister.
Angelina County Sheriff Kent Henson and other law enforcement officers walked 31-year-old Terrance Barnes out of the woods and onto the dirt road of a hunting club off Deer Creek Road after finding him beneath a fallen log shortly before 10:30 p.m. Thursday. A helicopter using thermal imaging had led authorities to the spot.

Two people are dead in what authorities believe is a double homicide overnight Wednesday on John Kolb Road in eastern Angelina County.
The victims have been identified as Rosa and Pepe Pina, along with their alleged killer, 31-year-old Terrance Barnes, according to the Lufkin Daily News [2].
Investigators are still on the scene.
