Program stands to lose $600K
Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News is reporting; as education advocates around the nation race to stop the impending sequestration that could result in billions of dollars being cut from national education programs over the next decade, Lufkin ISD Superintendent Roy Knight said his district is preparing for the potential impact of yet another lost funding resource that could see it lose $600,000 by the 2013-14 school year.
