Crews respond to fire at Longview strip mall

Longview, Tx — Longview firefighters were dispatched Thursday to reports of a fire at the Longview strip shopping center on North High Street.

At around 4:45 in the afternoon, a tenant called an A/C contractor to check their unit on the roof, who noticed smoke and fire.

The Longview Fire Department was alerted to the small fire. After arriving on scene, firefighters put the flames out quickly.

Minimal damage and no injuries were reported.
