tyler, tx — While the left wing media is still gasping for breath about the Mitt Romney 47% remark, they are curiously avoiding remarks made by then State Senator Barack Obama about him believing wealth should be redistributed.
NBC News, after doing 9 minutes in the fist news block about Romney's statement a few nights ago, has avoided Obama's statement like a water moccasin in the back yard.
As of the time we recorded this, I still think they've stayed away.
NBC's Andrea Mitchell, a few days back, when asked why that statement got no play remarked, it was because they could not verify it was Obama.
Well, it was him. Video has emerged.
Still, no weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Redistribution of wealth has become the biggest wedge issue of the campaign.
Back then State Senator Obama said "The trick is figuring out how do we structure government systems that pool resources, and hence facilitate some redistribution, because I actually believe in redistribution, at least at a certain level, to make sure that everybody has a shot,"
How noble to be so noble with other people money.
This is America. Those who cannot fend for themselves need to be cared for.
I believe in a safety net for people who are out of work-- for a while. I do not believe in a gigantic teat from unto which to make a lifestyle.
I believe in helping people. I do not believe in taking people on to raise. And I'll bet you 60% of the country really agrees with me.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
