Lufkin, tx — Thanks to an alert Lufkin police officer, a man wanted for a robbery earlier this month is off the streets.
At 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, authorities spotted a man, later identified as Daniel Lynn Murray, 31, walking on Locke Street. The officer noticed the man matched the description of a suspect who had robbed Video Latino back on September 16.
The employee who was working at the time of the crime reported a white male used a knife to threaten him and took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register.
Following Murray's arrest, police recovered clothing allegedly worn during the robbery on North Fourth Street.
Murray is charged with aggravated robbery. No bond has been set at this time.
