Banos no longer at helm of Good Shepherd Medical Center

Longview, TX — Ed Banos, who has been president and chief executive officer of Good Shepherd Medical Center since 2008, is no longer in that position as of Wednesday afternoon.

That was confirmed this morning by Victoria Ashworth, director of marketing. She said details on the action would likely be released later today.

With about 3,000 employees, Good Shepherd is the largest employer in Gregg County.
