$8.1 million: the price tag on general fund capital improvement program
Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News is reporting; Lufkin's City Council tonight is expected to continue discussions started last month on a proposed five-year, $8.1 million general fund capital improvement program.
Proposed projects include a new municipal court building, a skate park, a new fire station in North Lufkin, a walking trail at Ellen Trout Lake and numerous street reconstruction and reconditioning projects.
