19 charter propositions on the ballot
Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; Baytown residents not happy with the way the city is run will have a chance to change it come November. That opportunity comes, not in the form of candidates on the ballot, but in 19 charter propositions.
The propositions, range from cleaning up obsolete language in the governing document to deciding whether to pay the mayor and council members to expanding the opportunity for residents to challenge council actions.
