tyler, tx — What a difference a debate makes.
I stood right here a while back and told you none of the poll numbers mean anything until the first debate. Now that we have had that, things have reversed and it's driving the left mad.
Romney is ahead right now in most of the swing states. For the last few months, I have listened to all the juiced up polls from the New York Times and others with the president up 5-10 points.
Of course, read the fine print and the poll was executed with a Democratic slant.
The Obama campaign has poured gazillions of dollars into making Mitt Romney out to be a a Thurston Howell III type guy who cannot relate to you and me. Then last week's debate peeled the bark off things.
People who tuned in saw a guy ready with facts and didn't back down to the president a bit. Since that moment, the Romney campaign has been on the move.
It is funny to me now to see the political reports on all the cable shows read the poll results and look like they've just seen a calf with two heads.
Remember, polls are a snapshot in time. You are looking for trends just not hot spots.
But some have done their best to make people who are not pleased with the presidents performance belive there was no other choice and the presidential race was a fait a compli.
Now,.we have a horse race.
Am I saying Romney is going to win? Im not saying that.
I'm saying we have a horse race.
But, usually in every presidential election we have a horse race, and If I know it's going to happen, why can't others with more experience than me know that?
That's my point of view, what's yours?
