Tyler, TX — All for a great cause... the 19th Annual 'Rusk County' PRCA rodeo is kicking off.
It's a three-day event that starts Thursday, October 18th through Saturday the 20th.
"A lot of fun for the whole family, it's affordable, and it's action pack night, greatest show on dirt,"says Ron Yandle.
The show starts at seventy-thirty each night.
There will be seven events; bull-riding, barrel racing, bareback riding, steer wrestling, tie down roping, saddle bronc riding and team riding.
"Bull-fighters have been to the national finals rodeo, it's all professional sports right here in Rusk County, Henderson TX, we want everybody to come out and have a good time," says Ron Yandle.
Thursday night is the first perfomance of the rodeo.
Friday... is "Tough Enough to Wear Your Pink Night" to support National Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Saturday is the final performance of the rodeo.
There will events for kids, every night.
"Each night the Rusk County Cowgirls will be doing a routine and they will honor the American flag and veterans and service men that are fighting right now for our freedom," says Ron Yandle.
Rodeo Chairman Ron Yandle tells KETK...there will be great entertainment the whole family will love.
Thursday night- Free Admission
Friday and Saturday- $12 at the gate, tickets purchased in advance- $10
Children 6-12 $5
Children 5 & under Free
Tickets can be purchased at Baskins department store in Tyler, Longview and Henderson, and Long Star Feed in Henderson.
