SMITH COUNTY — Whitehouse Fire crews are still on the scene of a grass fire in Smith County.
Authorities with the Arp Fire Department, whose crews assisted in fighting the blaze, tell KETK that approximately five acres burned.
There was one structure that was threatened, but firefighters were able to contain the it before it reached the building.
Firefighters used bulldozers to fight the fire, and crews are still on location putting out hot spots.
There have been no injuries reported.
According to Smith County fire officials, multiple fire crews are on the scene of a grass fire.
The fire is on the 17000 block of Eastside Road near Whitehouse.
Firefighters from Whitehouse and Arp are on the scene.
