City of Longview plan renovations to Birdie Park

Longview, TX — Improvements are coming to west Longview neighborhoods surrounding Birdie Park as part of the RENEW! Longview initiative: Resources Enriching Neighborhoods through Empowerment Works.

From November 5 - 17, the City of Longview is partnering with Pine Tree ISD, Go West Longview, as well as other organizations and community volunteers to help make a difference in the area.

The ultimate goal of RENEW! Longview is to improve the quality of life in neighborhoods by utilizing a variety of crime prevention, social, and environmental methods that includes support from several City of Longview departments, nonprofit organizations, volunteers, and neighborhood residents.
