This year's film festival has a different light.
Local actor, Josh Carpenter, winning second place on comedy night for the film "Expiration Date".
"It's about a loner who goes to a Christmas party but it's a couples only party so he takes a cadaver...he's a mortician," says Josh Carpenter, Lead Actor, in “Expiration Date”.
"I read the script and it was just so touching because it has that loner feeling that I remember being isolated living in Tyler being different, the whole theatrical world, theater wasn't so strong when I was a kid," says Josh Carpenter, Lead Actor, in “Expiration Date”.
