Police think he ran into woods after attempted break-in
Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News is reporting; Lufkin Police searched a south Lufkin neighborhood Saturday night in hopes of making an arrest in the “Door-Kick Burglar” case, but came up empty-handed once the burglar escaped into the woods.
Cpl. Ray Berry said of the four burglaries that occurred Saturday, the attempted burglary at 8:18 p.m. in the 5200 block of Champions Drive in Crown Colony subdivision brought them very close to an arrest.
