Lufkin ,Tx — Construction on the Gulf Coast Project, part of the TransCanada Keystone pipeline system that will extend pipeline capacity 485 miles from Cushing, Okla., to Nederland, Texas, is expected to commence in Angelina County in about a week to 10 days, a senior consultant to the project said Tuesday.
Jim Prescott, an independent contractor to TransCanada, told members of the Lufkin Host Lions Club during their weekly meeting at Crown Colony Country Club in Lufkin that the first survey teams will reach Angelina County in the next week to 10 days.
