Tyler, Texas — James Calvert, the man who reportedly shot and killed the missing little boy's mother has quite the track record. Calvert, of Whitehouse, is nothing surprising to local law enforcement. According to Smith County court records:
In May of 1999 he was charged with aggravated assault and family violence.
In September of 2009 he was charged for violation of protective order.
In december 2009 he was charged for violation of bond and protective order.
In May of 2010 he was charged for violation of protective order.
In May of this year he was involved in a custody battle with his ex-wife and, according to court records, the most recent hearing was on October 19th.
