NACOGDCOHES, TX — The Tar Sands Blockade on Wednesday afternoon arrived in northwest Nacogdoches County to protest TransCanada’s Keystone XL Pipeline.
“We have 10 to 15 on site,” blockade spokesman Cindy Spoon said. “And we have two women in trees from (New England). They want to highlight the direct link between Hurricane Sandy and climate change.”
