NACOGDCOHES, TX — Two women who climbed pine trees in Sacul where a company is clearing land for construction of TransCanada’s Keystone XL Pipeline were in the Nacogdoches County jail on Thursday on a combined $25,500 bond.
Lauren Zygmont, 24, of Concord, N.H., and Hannah Morgan, 24, of Heartland, Vt., were each charged with felony criminal mischief and criminal trespass. Zygmont was also charged with resisting arrest.
