Texas Housing Report: Lufkin's sales down, but prices up

Lufkin ,Tx — The Texas real estate market saw increases in sales volume and prices for single-family homes in the last three months, marking the fifth consecutive quarter of improved results, according to a quarterly housing report released Thursday by the Texas Association of Realtors.

Lufkin home sales fell slightly, by about 3.6 percent in the third quarter compared to the same quarter of the prior year, but the median price of a Lufkin home continues to increase.
