Longview — Wellness Pointe is discontinuing its outpatient psychiatric services as the agency readjusts some of its healthcare offerings in order to focus more on providing primary health care to its patients, chief executive officer Carl Walters said.
He said the clinic is also expanding its hours to update its phone service while increasing the number of dentists it has to serve client needs.
The goal: to focus more on providing primary health care to patients, according to Walters.
“We want to make sure we’re serving as much of our target population as possible with high quality healthcare, while operating in an economically viable manner,” Walters said.
