Tyler, TX — While everyone else on whatever news channel you were watching was talking about the election, I'll bring up another topic.
It was on this date in 2009 that Army Major Nidal Hasan reportedly opened fire on other innocent soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas.
Hasan was one month away from being deployed to Afghanistan and decided he did want to fire on fellow Muslims. So, he fired on us.
The sickest thing of it all is to this date the Army and U.S. government is calling this workplace violence instead of a terror attack.
You know, a terror attack. Like what happened in Benghazi, Libya. Terror, a word this administration and state department cannot seem to say.
After the attack General Jack Keane testified before a Senate committee this was and I quote, "the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil since September 11, 2001."
Still, the major has not been tried because we are fighting about his beard.
Former President Clinton was out crowing this past weekend how proud he was that he led the way for the military to be more politically correct.
I guess it's good for everyone except those who are shot by terrorist.
America has a job to do on Tuesday. It's to vote.
If you want 4 more years of what we've had, by all means vote.
If you are sick and tired of seeing the nation drift into an America I don't even recognize sometimes, you need to vote too.
Someone said once, "we get the government we deserve."
Boy, have we been asleep at the throttle.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
