Vince Carter scored 19 points but the Mavericks were defeated by the Bobcats in overtime 101-97 in Charlotte on Saturday night.

Darren Collison added 14 points and six assists while O.J. Mayo scored a team-high 22.

The Mavericks host the Timberwolves on Monday.
