Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, members of the Elf Coalition want to remind people of the need to include an underprivileged child (or two) on their Christmas shopping lists.
The Elf Coalition agencies work to ensure that local children get Christmas presents and that there are no duplications. People can sign up with only one of the agencies.
Anyone who wants to help has a variety of options. Members of the Elf Coalition are: Toys for Tots, Salvation Army, Buckner Children and Family Services, Presbyterian Children’s Home & Services, Hiway 80 Rescue Mission, Haverty’s Angel Tree and Blue Santa.
