Longview, TX — The Kilgore College Chorale will present a special Christmas concert with orchestra 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Longview’s First United Methodist Church.
Admission is free and the concert is open to the public.

About the KC Chorale:
The 30-voice KC Chorale has a rich history of great choral music, and performed this last September with the Longview Symphony Orchestra in Schubert’s Mass No. 2 in G.
It will join with the East Texas Community Chorus on April 30, 2013, to perform “Brahms Requiem” with orchestra at Trinity Episcopal Church in Longview.
The Christmas concert will include:
• A Christmas festival for choir and orchestra:
• Carol arrangements of John Rutter
• A Christmas bossa nova, “Won’t You Come a-Christmasing with Me?” Amanda Bean, vocal solo
• “Winter” from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Diana Norwood, violin
• New carol arrangements by KCC director, Dr. Jim Taylor
• Leroy Anderson’s perennial “Sleigh Ride”
• An angry Christmas carol by Claude Debussy
• Michael Haydn’s Magnificat, featuring Alyssa Marshall, Melanie Sullivan, and Jeanne Johnson, soloist
