Longview eatery’s liquor license restored

Longview — A popular downtown Longview eatery has its liquor license back, nine weeks after a legal error on the document prompted the state to pull it.

Willy G’s owner Will Blair did not hesitate when he got the call Wednesday evening telling him his application for a new license was ready.

“I was in the car within five minutes to go pick it up,” he said Thursday afternoon. “We are restocking right now, and we have a full-service bar as of right now.”
